We have an audition coming up next weekend for a national television show and we have to play acoustic. Last night one of our acoustic guitars and an acoustic bass were stolen along with a bunch of my personal crap.
You don’t see a lot of acoustic basses, but if anyone has one we may be able to borrow for a few days, we would really appreciate it!
Thankfully, there wasn’t anything vintage or rare that can’t be replaced, aside from sentimental value.
If you happen to run across a black Takamine acoustic (EG series i think?) with a hard plastic case, or a black Ibanez 4 string acoustic bass in a pawn shop or on craigslist, please let me know. They may be accompanied by a backpack full of Panasaya shoelace belts, a wallet, two pairs of earphones, some sweet ass rock star clothes, a Canon Powershot camera, my favorite hoodie, a power inverter and phone charger.
I do NOT want donations or pity, or flowers in lieu of gifts, I just want to borrow an acoustic bass 
Please, don’t even say “I’m sorry” – Let’s not acknowledge the negative!
So now for the positive.
Today has rocked so far: I found a cheap replacement window for my truck, and I met some really interesting and positive ladies at Starbucks who sensed something was wrong and prayed extensively for me.They say they could see that my purpose in life is to bring positivity to people in dark places through music and that my possessions will be returned 100 fold. Then, they gave me a ring and four hand drawn portraits of Jesus. As well as $20 which I tried to refuse, but they shoved into my pocket.
