Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs are lead by Lezlie Deane (aka Scary Cherry) who brings an automatic fan base from her acting career which includes well know films such as Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (she killed Freddy!), 976-EVIL and numerous TV appearances.

Lezlie was also a member of the controversial band Fem 2 Fem, who scored a top 10 dance hit and toured with NIN, Marilyn Manson and Type O Negative, as well as a captain and coach for the legendary Slaughterers Roller Derby Allstar team. Every city they play in, she brings a unique and eclectic fan base to the wild world of Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs.

Discography
“Limited Edition Ep” (on iTunes), the bands first release, features 5 songs, two of which have received repeated airplay in Dallas. “Let’s Go” has achieved film placement and won several song competitions.

They also released a cover of The Runaway’s “Cherry Bomb” in which all proceeds go to Nikki Sixx’s charity for runaways.

Their new album, “GIRL”, was released on March 19th, 2013 and achieving great reviews. Working with a legendary Austin producer, Beau Hill, also Grammy award winner Stuart Sykes and Taylor Tatsch this release will has multiple tracks currently receiving radio airplay and is just a tease of the mountains of material they have waiting to be released.
